We've come a long way baby
But we have far to go
And the path is so full of obstacles that even the most experienced of
travelers may grow weary
The journey of self discovery
Is not just for women
Although
Because of societies need to cloister us
It offers to women the most enlightenment
Did you know that in Spain during the 1600's cross dressing was punishable
by death. When we think of cross dressing we think of present day - of
men putting on women's lingerie and make up - we might smirk in disgust
or smile knowingly€ but in the 1600's a woman, at birth could be promised
to the church by her family. She future cared for and the family's burden
ended. Cross dressing was a means of freedom and escape. Done by the bold
or those that lack any other choice, women put on men's clothing, cut
their hair and snuck into the world.
All through history there have been great women that ignored convention
and sought their own enlightenment. They did not buy into the current
beliefs that women were fragile beings dependent on a man for protection,
security and knowledge. They ignored their families, their priests, ministers,
pastors and politicians - quite frankly - anyone that stood in the way
of their goal to explore, reach, yearn, and hunger for a life unbridled.
Although many would argue and some would laugh, I consider myself an explorer.
I am on an active quest of discovery. The new lands and conquest I seek
are not riches for my bank account but of/for my mind€. I seek this in
the most controversial of topics.. I look for my own unbridled path in
erotic literature and photography and art.
My name is Francine
Some call me Francesca or Frankie
Others know me as Oceania
The voice of erotica.
And this is my path
