Its a hot sultry night in Alabama
the scent of magnolia's float through the air
the moon beams shine on the land below
where lovers come together as one
he meets her every night by the Magnolia tree
and she comes to him in her white linen gown
barefoot and naked below
they touch and sparks fly
their kisses light up the sky
his hand moves beneath her gown
where he finds his promised land
she kisses him deeply
her love surrounds him
he lays her down beneath the tree
as she awaits his love to enter her
desires and passions ignite
lustful cries echo in the night
they are lovers who run and hide
because they must......
Far above the Southern sky
the moon shines below
on the lovers entwined
their love is a forbidden love.....
But here under the magnolia tree
there is no black or white
only a man and a woman
who loves..........
