beautiful naked woman bathed in soft embers of candle light carassing her breasts

a love poem from mfoch@paradise.net.nz

Right now in this present moment my mouth dare not frame poetry for you
I stall and sway on the abyss of my desire engulfed in vertigo
such velvety belong caresses me
when I'm myself again
my blood and my breath mine again
headlong to your open gates I'll bring in full throated voice my song.

Off balance knocked spinning the running fire burns low down amongst the embers of intoxication
the remains a soft glow in the sinews of my warm flesh.

And in my thoughts a scheme for a superb embrace
I bring for you a trinket plucked from the clutter of happy memories
and from my care worn face a long slow smile
and for you alone a whispered endearment.
