This mildly entertaining novel is the story on one woman's unknown
erotic desires. It tells the tale of Gloria Brennan and her
desires for kinky sex. But the kink is not a major component
and for the most part, soft in nature. This is more a story
of the mind and how one person relates to others.
The novel opens with Thomas Decker, typical male stud. Suave,
polished and debonair, he arrives at a party hosted by Suleiman
Ali, dealmaker, famous middleman and proud pimp. Decker is prepared
to be bored as he usually is at these parties. However, the
lovely Gloria Brennan, another party guest, soon captivates
him. Before long, he is in her arms and in her bed, but something
does not seem right with the lovely young lady.
This sets the pattern for the next several weeks, where her
spoken desires are fulfilled, but his are not. He becomes increasingly
frustrated with her manner and attitude until he takes matters
firmly in hand. One evening, he gets particularly fed up with
her and forces her facedown into the bed. Then, he repeatedly
spanks her rear as if she is a small child. While it turns him
on tremendously, her only response is to order him out of her
home.
At first, they do not speak for two weeks after the spanking
incident. Then, she eventually confesses her arousal to him.
The spanking turned her on as well and shifts the balance of
power in their relationship. Firmly in control, he begins to
plan their future erotic escapades. Gloria will experience more
spankings, penetrations, and even have her young assistant,
Sarah, erotically involved in the situation.
This novel is more of the mind than it is of the sex act. While there
is little overall action in the story arc, the descriptions of the
actions and thoughts of the characters are complex and detailed. The
sex is arousing and fully detailed and the bondage and discipline
are more in the soft side of the spectrum. All in all, this novel
that seems to be aimed more at women and couples, than men, is an
interesting read from a classic name in the business.
