The Video Corner

Last month, I explained what I look for in a video as a reviewer and a customer. If I am plunking down my hard earned cash for a rental or purchase, I want value for my dollar. Sure, I want great sex and beautiful women, but I also want a plot and storyline. I want a story to be told where the sex is just part of the whole package. The ultimate would be a great movie on the merits where sex is just an added component and not there for the sake of being.

But, those are my preferences. I know others just want nudity and sex all the time. As I said in the last column, now and then, we will throw out the high standards of plot and storyline, in favor of some plain old raw in your face stuff. Every now and then, plain old, no pretensions to be better than it is, works too.

Of course, I will continue to promote what I think is the good stuff. And when you read one of my reviews, you will know exactly how I stand on the video. But, like any review, that is my opinion. You have your choices to make and I would just like to be part of that information source.

PHE Distribution (Adam & Eve) A Midsummers Night's Cream

Starring: Sydnee Steele, Nina Hartley, Shay Sweet, Ava Vincent, Cheyenne Silver, McKayla, Amber Michaels, Ginger Paige, Heather Lyn, Nakita Kash, Evan Stone, Michael J. Cox, Kyle Stone, Nick East. Adapted and Directed by Stuart Canterbury.

Usually I like the works produced by the folks at Adam and Eve. The sets are exotic, the ladies lovely, and there is a plot and storyline in every one. The video "Conquest" that came out sometime ago is a good example of their work. However, this is not! I'm sure Shakespeare never envisioned one of his works being changed in quite this way.

Such a cast and such a waste ran through my mind as I worked through this epic. Nina Hartley leads a group of fairies through various adventures while being pursued by Oberon (Evan Stone.) Oberon wants to have sex with her desperately even though Nina is not remotely interested. Instead, she would appreciate it if Oberon would not interrupt as she and the fairies are pleasuring each other.

Nina remains seated as the video opens, while the fairies make a circle of delectable female flesh. Mouths with questing tongues are delicately licking spread pussies, as Nina supervises the action. Oberon interrupts and Nina and the fairies flee the area. Oberon is left to hatch a plan for sexual conquest with the annoying Puck.

The plan backfires and while Nina soon gets slowly and thoroughly fucked, it is not by Oberon. The fucking continues among the mortals and the fairies as different ones pare off and then switch to someone else for no discernable reason. With the coming of the dawn, everyone is thoroughly shaken and quite literally spent.

Nina Hartley is a turn-on as always, and Sydnee Steele as one of the fairies works really well. Some of the action is very hot and Cheyenne Silver is very erotic herself. Unfortunately, despite the talents of these three ladies, this one if filled with so many negatives.

The dialogue is amazingly lame. Everyone attempts to speak a Shakespearian tongue with various grating effects. The editing is sloppy with scenes and sequences not flowing together. Then, there is the set itself. It reminds one of the old Westerns with the painted backdrop and a foreground of assorted plastic plants. Since this is in color, that does not work well at all.

All in all, despite the potential of the hot cast, the negatives far outweighed the positives. This is one that I definitely would stay away from. See if they have "Conquest" instead. And, don't loan your copy to a buddy that promises to bring it back and never does!

Stable Entertainment Goosed Again: More Bisexual Fables

Continuing in the lame dialogue category is this bizarre effort. It definitely was a turnoff for me and turned more into my wondering how exactly this mess got made. So, in the interests of full disclosure, while I hated it, someone somewhere will probably want to see it. Therefore, I pass on the following information.

This is a hideously done story of the death of Peter Peter and the search for his killer. Every nursery rhyme and character is mentioned in this erotic madcap case. What could have been a good premise was butchered and left for dead.

As the video opens, T. J. Hart and Dam Handsome stand over the body of Peter Peter. Peter Peter was Dam Handsome's male lover at one time, so this makes the case very personal. There is only one thing to do. They have to go see Chief Dumpty for guidance in solving the case. I told you all the groans would not be in the video. It gets worse, much worse.

But, Chief Humphty Dumpty has his hands full with other matters. Little Boy Blue and Little Red Riding Hood have come over and they want to play. Cocks and mouths go everywhere as the threesome engage in some serious deep and fulfilling playing. Fortunately, they have just wetly finished as the intrepid detectives show up.

It becomes time to round up the usual suspects, and they start with Mother Goose. The jokes and puns fly as they squeeze her for information. They search Peter Peter's pumpkin home, and the clues lead them to Miss little Bo Peep.

What follows is the only real good stuff (in my humble opinion) as she receives her just punishment after she took the sheep to the wrong field. She gets spanked before being fucked by dildo and cock. She squirms and moans her way through the scene, as her punishment becomes a reward for everyone else.

Anything goes in this video as everyone fucks and gets fucked. The puns are as thick as the flowing cum as this one winds it way to a conclusion. If you want a porno to be groaningly funny, or just plain awful, this one is definitely for you.

Sin City Virtuoso

Starring: Randy Spears, Katja Kean, Ava Vincent, Shanna McCollough, Heather Lynn, Tabitha Tyler, Pat Myne, Dillon Day, Eric Price, and Alec Metro. Directed by Michael Raven.

Usually, I am not a fan of the work of Sin City. Their stuff seems to be hackneyed and lame, and their review copies are typically defective in audio and video quality. It seems to me that a company that can't produce decent review copies should not be taken seriously or expect to remain in business. But, I have to give them credit. They had their act together in this one.

This hot video is the story of what happens when an artist attempts to bring perfection to life. Sometimes, though the goal is achieved, the results are not as expected. Sometimes, the creation can turn around and bite you in the rear.

Roger is a sculptor who is attempting to convey in stone the highest essence of a woman. Stephanie, a friend of Roger's, does not believe it can be done. They make a wager that it has to be done in ninety days or else, with stakes to be determined. The stone itself is a rare jade that seems to have aphrodisiac qualities on Stephanie. Soon, the clothes come off and Roger is exploring the essence of Stephanie in an up close and intimate way. The movements are slow and sensual as the cameras flow back and forth capturing all of the hot action. The sex is erotic and natural as they work through the positions.

After just five minutes of arousing video, it is clear that this is going to be one very hot couples tape, no matter how the project turns out. The action continues for quite some time with Roger thoroughly pleasuring Stephanie, before she returns the favor.

Roger completes his task and begins to carve the stone. Time passes and the work continues. Once finished, he sits down and as he falls asleep, he wishes that the stone figure he has carved would come to life. He falls asleep and the mists rise, making it abundantly clear as to what will come next.

He awakens the next day and the figure is alive and it is Katja Kean. She is running naked in the garden and exploring as she learns all about her new wonderful environment. Soon, Roger enlists the attractive Carla to assist in the learning process. Katja has lots to learn and Roger means to teach her everything.

But, like any artist striving for perfection, he is doomed to failure. The teacher eventually becomes the pupil in a fitting climax to this hot video. It seems Roger has a thing to learn as well about what it means to be human.

While Katja is the focal point for this video, make sure to watch the performances of Shanna McCollough and Pat Myne. Katja is forced to watch a very arousing performance by Shanna as part of her education. But, she is outdone by Pat Myne who does a very nice three-way scene on top of the dinner table towards the end of this good video.
