Mistress Kitty and Trent By Sascha Illyivich
2003 Extasy Books
Rating: ****

"An unhealthy submissive is a useless submissive."

A code that Mistress Kitty lives by in this interesting collection of stories penned by the author. According to the introduction, these stories were created by the author when she was submitting works to the list Males In slavery Stories. These did not fit the list. They are also not the usual thing where the Female Dominant "was a bitch, liked to beat her slaves, senselessly, etc." as the author puts it. This author wanted to do something different where romance plays a strong role and the couple is just a little bit kinky.

She certainly succeeded and the romance comes through loud and clear. As does the kinky and the entire project works. Space limitations preclude me going into great detail about each of the twelve stories. Each one has elements of romance as well as bondage including the use of a certain instrument named Allison, various other fetishes, and often are holiday or seasonal themed.

One example is the story entitled "Goatee." Earlier in the collection, Mistress Kitty has made it abundantly clear that she expects Trent to keep his face shaved so that he does not irritate her skin anywhere. In this story, she has an erotic dream concerning a place where all the men have beards that are incredibly soft and smooth, which they use to pleasure their women. Upon awakening, Mistress Kitty orders Trent to allow his beard to grow out. He complies with her new directive and when it has grown out, several weeks later, she comes up with a new treat for him.

In "Spanking Cold Weather" Mistress Kitty wonders if Trent truly loves her beyond the usual Female Dominate Male Submissive level. Sao she decided to send him to Mistress Alexis. Mistress Alexis does not believe in romance at all. Instead she totally believes in the concept of female superiority and intends to put Trent is his place-painfully.

These two stories are just examples of the fine writing throughout the collection. They certainly are not the usual kind of stories on this type of subject matter, which is a very pleasant change. While those in the Lifestyle will certainly get more out of this collection of fiction, those outside will get a great glimpse beyond the mundane which makes this book well worth reading.
