Strange Bedfellows
This 220-page book is a collection of thirteen stories featuring politics and very detailed erotica. The stories run the gamut from straight, to bi, to gay and lesbian, with every twisting variation in between. A few fetishes are added to the steamy political mix. The stories are extremely detailed and often times absolutely hilarious. But, being funny does not diminish the arousing erotic appeal. Opening the book with a dripping bang is Veronica Kelly's story entitled "Politic Performance." It features a young woman who dances and strips for the sexes in Washington. While she may strip, she has a firm rule about never being touched. But, when enough money is offered, she gives into her desires with arousing and surprising results. This story alone is worth the price of the book. But, maybe straight sex isn't your thing. Maybe the second story written by Rob Brynes is more your thing. The story is titled "Media Relations" and features a gay reporter for a major paper in our Capital City. He is covering an avowed homophobic senator that is very likely a soon-to-be presidential candidate. After catching the Senator in a compromising situation, he hilariously gives the Senator his views on the Senator's positions. All the Senator can do is take it to the limit. "Anything For A Vote" by Piper Fahrney follows Brynes's story. A constituent goes to see her congressman for explicit and personal governmental assistance. Issues become foreplay and sex talk in this very funny story. After you read this story, just try to watch your congressperson during his or her next speech. It will give you a whole new perspective on what they are saying to the voters! The forth story is "An Evening Out" by Co-Editor Debra Hyde. It tells the tale of a firmly in control Dominatrix at work in Washington. She has her man and much of Washington by the balls. She manages to humiliate both at the same time and they both really like it. "Shake your Moneymaker" by Michael Stamp follows in which a gay stripper finds love in the capital. A last performance begins a whole new life. Domination again becomes the theme in the next story by Co-Editor Debra Hyde. In "For A Good Cause" the submissive becomes center stage in this incredibly arousing tale. An S&M function is created to raise funds for a candidate. The submissive gets detailed spankings before being bound to a table and made to orgasm repeatedly for funds. Once the money is raised, her job still isn't over. She gives a great performance, which does not stop until the last dripping word of the story. Another excellent reason to buy this book as this story, like the one mentioned earlier, is very good stuff. All too often an editor will throw stories of his or her own in the mix and it isn't the quality of the other works. That isn't the case here as both of Debra Hyde's works are very good and very arousing from their opposite points of view. The seventh story is "Below The Beltway" by Simon Sheppard. A lobbyist of a conservative group discovers a certain senator's foot fetish and other needs first hand. Once again, proving the theory that public statements, do not accurately define the man in public or in private. "Inquiring Dykes Want to Know" by Shelly Marcus is next. This is a great story where a female reporter working for a scandal sheet is out looking for political dirt the week before Election Day. She wanders into her own favorite lesbian bar where she discovers the daughter of one of the candidates. Instantly attracted and ashamed of her intentions, she surrenders her body to the daughter's touch. Soon, she finds that she has found a scandal and has erotically participated in a far different way than planned. Next up is "Vote For Mrs. Robertson" by Matt Merrit. A young man goes to work for an election year campaign in just about every way possible. The tenth story of this great collection is called "Republicans Don't Like Blowjobs" by Kate Dominic. Reality is far different than the title, which is a point, this story makes over and over again in fine detail. "Just Do It" by Isambard is next. This time the setting is merry old England, but the politics and desires are just the same as in the States. A young woman at a party goes home with a stranger. Over the course of weeks she discovers that he is a Shadow Home Secretary and he has friends who are interested in her talents as well. Politics gets close and personal at the local level in "Potholes" by Co-Editor Dominic Santi. A man loses the election and pays the price in public and in private. Actually, his ass pays the price in penetrating detail. The last, but certainly not the least story in this collection is "Laurie's Little Black Book" by Kate Dominic. The story is of a Madam in our nations capital and an accounting of just some of the wants and desires of those in power. This is a great collection of stories featuring politics and erotica. Many are hilarious, few are serious, and all are highly arousing. Just to get you through the long days of this election cycle or any other!
