There used to be an old radio drama that talked about the evil that lurked in the heart of man. But, ponder if you will, what may lurk in the heart of a woman. There is a reason why there are sayings such as "Paybacks a bitch" or "Beware the woman scorned." Both fit equally well, in summarizing this very engrossing novel from Jason Rubis.

Dr. Eric Adams is a tenured professor at an unnamed University. She has dark desires that she does not share with just anyone. Dark, delicious, and totally arousing desires. She did not discuss these desires with Richard Yep, one of her students. The same Richard Yep with whom she had a brief affair with, before he broke it off, informing her that at thirty-four she was just too old. That would be mistake number one.

Mistake number two would come about when he got into serious trouble once too many times with the school's administration. To prevent being expelled, he makes mistake number three in signing a document agreeing to participate in Dr. Adam's experiment. Having failed to read the fine print or understand the document, he does not realize that in exchange for not being expelled, he agrees to become her slave for the summer. Slave as in anything the good Dr. Adams wants, no matter what, he has to do it as part of the experiment. She owns him lock, stock and barrel, as she makes very clear, before slowly breaking down his will to resist.

She begins to break down his will through humiliation by making him remove his shoes and socks. "Barefeet were a signifier of submission. . ." and also because Richard is ". . .so proud of his expensive clothes, and especially of the designer shoes he always wore." Plus, with a serious foot fetish of her own, it just makes her incredibly aroused.

She has come up with a rather novel way to break him and begins the slow tortuous process in exquisite detail. Various positions and restraints are used and he slowly, very slowly, begins to yield to her will. She fully indulges her foot fetish and several other desires over the next chapters, as she breaks Richard's will and makes his body succumb to her demands. And he most definitely succumbs to her domination.

To reveal more would begin to ruin the book. This 137-page novel has character development, plot twists, and great sex to make it an excellent read from start to finish. Foot fetish fans will be especially pleased as feet are worshipped in a variety of ways in every chapter. Definitely a good read and one to immediately add to the collection. Enjoy yourself!
